The Hannah Dairy Research Foundation are pleased to have hosted their Third Next Generation Dairying Workshop, on the theme of "...for a healthy environment". The Workshop focused on the "elephants in the room" in relation to both production and utilisation of milk and dairy products. A Bulletin Board session introduced by Prof Julie Fitzpatrick Chief Scientific Adviser for Scotland, spotlighted Scottish research initiatives, and a closing Plenary presented by Prof Sir Charles Godfray, University of Oxford, considered broader aspects of food sustainability with an emphasis on dairy.
This was a "blended" Workshop with live participation in Edinburgh complemented by an online audience of researchers, farmers, processors and others. The objective was to portray the latest research and evidence-based information in a format that is relevant to a broad cross-section of dairy sector end-users. All the presentations are now available to download as Proceedings, as is the Delegate List
