The fifth of the Next Generation Dairying Conferences sponsored by the Hannah Dairy Research Foundation will be held on Monday and Tuesday 20th and 21st November, "lunch to lunch". The venue is the Moredun Research Institute, a short drive from Edinburgh city centre,
In person attendance is strongly encouraged, although virtual participation will also be possible
The main theme for the Conference is Next Generation Quality Dairying and eminent speakers will examine how quality can be improved across the whole spectrum of the dairy foods chain: quality of life for animals, quality of life for farmers, quality of products for consumers and the environment.
Within these themes we will address how quality can be improved by building better relationships and by minimising wastage in all of its forms
The Conference is relevant to dairy researchers as well as to the broader dairy industry including farmers, processors and retailers as well as to consumer groups.
The draft Programme will be available soon. In addition to invited Plenary Presentations, our Bulletin Board will feature the latest dairy research from Scotland, and there will be opportunity to submit Abstracts for short oral or poster presentation. Details will follow.
